The Journey
The trek begins with a flight to Biratnagar, followed by a drive to Taplejung, the gateway to the Kanchanjunga region. From there, the trail winds through picturesque villages and lush forests, gradually ascending to the high-altitude base camps. The route includes acclimatization days to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Itinerary
Begin your adventure with a departure from France, heading towards the captivating landscapes of Nepal.
Arrive in Kathmandu, where you'll be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner featuring a Nepali cultural program. A briefing with your guide will cover all official arrangements for the trek. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kathmandu airport for your flight to Biratnagar. From Biratnagar, a 7-hour drive will take you to Taplejung. Overnight in Taplejung.
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic 5-hour drive from Taplejung to Sukethum. Overnight in Sukethum.
Begin the trek from Sukethum to Amjilosa (2400m). This 5-6 hour walk covers approximately 11km, with a 95m ascent and a 150m descent. Overnight in Amjilosa.
Trek from Amjilosa to Gyabla (2730m). The journey takes around 5 hours, covering 9km with an 800m ascent and a 500m descent. Overnight in Gyabla.
Continue trekking from Gyabla to Ghunsa (3410m). This 5-hour trek covers 11km, with an 800m ascent and a 500m descent. Overnight in Ghunsa.
Trek from Ghunsa to Khambachen (4100m). The walk takes about 5-6 hours, covering 10km with a 750m ascent and a 50m descent. Overnight in Khambachen.
Spend the day acclimatizing in Khambachen. Hike to the Kumbhakarana Himalayan (Mt. Jannu) viewpoint for stunning views, then return to Khambachen. Overnight in Khambachen.
Trek from Khambachen to Lhonak (4790m). This 5-6 hour trek covers 10km, with a 750m ascent and a 50m descent. Overnight in Lhonak.
Trek from Lhonak to Kanchanjunga Pang Pema Base Camp (5140m). This 3-4 hour trek covers 7km, with a 400m ascent and a 50m descent. Optional: Those who wish can sleep at Pang Pema Base Camp and hike to Dromo Spom (6100m) the next morning (6 hours, 850m ascent/descent). Others can return to Lhonak. Overnight in Pang Pema or Lhonak.
Trek from Lhonak/Khambachen back to Ghunsa (3410m). This 8-hour trek covers 21km, with a 100m ascent and a 1300m descent. Overnight in Ghunsa.
Trek from Ghunsa to Selele La Phedi (3900m). This 3-4 hour trek covers 6km, with a 500m ascent. Overnight in Selele La Phedi.
Trek from Selele La Phedi, crossing Selele Pass and Mirjung La Pass, to reach Tseram (3870m). Overnight in Tseram.
Trek from Tseram to Ramche, then continue to Oktang Base Camp (North Kanchanjunga Base Camp, 4700m). This day trip takes 8-9 hours. Guests can choose to stay in Ramche or Tseram, as decided by the guide. Overnight in Ramche or Tseram.
Trek from Ramche/Tseram to Tortang (3000m). This 4-5 hour trek covers 13km/9km with a 900m descent. Overnight in Tortang.
Trek from Tortang to Khanashaghar. This 5-6 hour trek covers 10km. Overnight in Khanashaghar.
Trek from Khanashaghar to Ranipula (3-4 hours). Then, take a jeep to Taplejung (5 hours). Overnight in Taplejung.
Drive from Taplejung to Ilam, enjoying sightseeing along the way. Overnight in Ilam.
Drive from Ilam to Biratnagar, then take a flight back to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.
A reserve day in Kathmandu for any unforeseen delays or for further exploration of the city.
Depart from Kathmandu on your return flight home, filled with memories of your Kanchanjunga adventure.
